• Split AC — a wall-mounted indoor unit with an outdoor condenser; the standard choice for apartment bedrooms, living rooms and small offices.
• Multi-split — several indoor units running off one condenser, ideal where outdoor space is limited, such as balconies and townhouse service areas.
• Ducted AC — a concealed unit feeding ceiling ducts and grilles, the usual fit for villas and larger offices; when replacing one, pair the job with AC duct cleaning so the new unit breathes through clean ductwork.
• Central and package units — higher-capacity systems serving whole floors, offices and commercial premises.

Apartment residents take note: many buildings require landlord or building-management approval before an outdoor unit is mounted or an external wall drilled. Check your tenancy contract and building rules first — our surveyor can supply the technical details your approval request needs.

Choosing the Right AC Unit

Undersized units run constantly and never quite cool; oversized ones short-cycle and waste power. Rather than guessing from floor area, our technician weighs ceiling height, sun exposure, glazing and existing wiring before recommending a capacity. We fit all major brands, so the advice follows your room, not our stock.

Our 5-Step AC Installation Process

Every installation, from a single split unit in a Dubai Marina apartment to a full villa system in Sharjah, follows the same five steps:

• Survey and sizing — we inspect the space, calculate the capacity and map pipe and cable routes.
• Fixed written quote — one price covering the unit (where we supply it), materials and labour, agreed before work starts.
• Installation — mounting, refrigerant pipework, drainage and wiring, with connections made by licensed electricians to DEWA requirements in Dubai (ADDC, SEWA or EtihadWE elsewhere).
• Vacuum, gas charge and commissioning — lines vacuumed to remove moisture, refrigerant charged to specification, then cooling, airflow and drainage tested.
• Handover with warranty — a working demonstration, plus 3 months on workmanship and 6 months on parts we supply, alongside the manufacturer's warranty on the unit. T&C apply.

What Affects AC Installation Cost

Published prices for AC installation in Dubai contradict each other because no two jobs are alike. The real cost drivers are:

• Unit capacity (tonnage) and system type
• Pipe-run length between indoor and outdoor units
• Wall type — drilling concrete takes longer than blockwork
• Access — floor height, condenser location and working space
• Electrical work, such as a new breaker or cable upgrade

AC Replacement or Repair?

If your unit is eight to ten years old, needs yearly gas top-ups or has a failed compressor, replacement is often cheaper over the next two summers than continued patching. Many tired systems can still be revived with a straightforward AC repair for far less — our technician prices both options on-site, gives an honest recommendation, and the decision stays yours. On replacements, removal and disposal of the old unit are included.
